My agent at imortgage was very helpful. She responded quickly throughout the majority of the process. I did get quotes from various other lenders to see if they could match her rates. She actually dropped some of her fees and gave me a better rate to compete. By getting competing quotes I was able to get a better rate so I highly advise doing this even if you are set on which lending agent you go with.

Also, going through a broker instead of directly with a bank gives you much more bargaining power and the person you are dealing with is certified which is NOT necessarily the case with banks. Brokers have rules the banks do not have.

The only complaint I have is the day we were signing there was very little communication on where we were, but the docs got to title on time and we were able to close on time.
