I mailed my payment to Central Mortgage around 4 Jan 2012. On 23 Jan 2012, I received a letter from Central Mortgage. I opened the letter on 24 Jan and in it they said they had not received my payment. I called them on 24 Jan and was told they had received the payment on 24 Jan and had posted it to my account with a late fee. I requested that the late fee be removed and they claimed they could not do that. I told them the payment was mailed on time and I wanted a copy of the envelope my payment was mailed in. They claimed they could not do that because the machine used to open envelopes destroys them. Seems like to me this company is doing little things to rip consumers off. I encourage anyone that this company is costing more money to contact their State Attorney General Office and FannieMae for starters. I know I am going to do so.

Run as fast as you can. This company has changed my mortgage payment 3 times in less than 2 years. Each time the mortgage went up. After reviewing my 2011 tax and interest statement, they charged my escrow $12,219 in 2011 and took $6700 for homeowners insurance which is $945; plus they didn't send enough to cover my taxes. I had to write a check for an additional $2200 - taxes are $7701. I have contacted them via telephone and US mail since this all began in 2010, to which I never received a response. I have now referred this to my attorney.

Have been really helpful setting up my account after taking it on in December.They have been patient and understanding in helping me understand the mortgage system and payment options in the USA, and someone is always available to speak to , without having to spend 10 minutes pressing buttons on the phone.I hope they continue to provide this great level of customer service !.

Central Mortgage took over my loan August 1st. At that time, I was paid in advance through Flagstar and didn't have another payment due until October 1st. I set my payments up through my on-line bill pay account to basically make 1/2 payment every two weeks (that runs with my direct deposit). I always rounded up, so I always paid more than the monthly payment. Plus, with 26 payments per year, I'm actually paying my mortgage off early. I received a statement from Central in August, reflecting almost $100 credit toward my October payment. I didn't receive another statement from them until Oct 4th reflecting my Oct 1st payment was still due.

I called to ask if they had been receiving my payments through auto bill pay. They had, but decided since they werent full payments that I must want them applied to principal. The did correct the back payments to pay my Oct and Nov payments, but told me if I continued to do business this way they could foreclose on me! WOW!! Incredible!!!

Central mtg bought our note. We called asking when first payment was due and were told Feb 1. We received a coupon book with first payment due on feb 1. After making two months of payments, they called saying we should have made payment Jan 1.

They are just squeezing an extra payment out, fraudulently. Plus their computer records were screwed up and, important for you, they keep notes of phone conversations, but the representative's notes are made to protect the representative, not to accurately reflect the actual conversation. I caught them in a direct fabrication.

I have been on hold for over 2 hours, the first time I called I was on hold for an hour then pressed 1 to leave a message only to find out the mail box was full and it then hung up on me. I am still waiting.
