My payment increased as well by nearly 250.00 monthly due to inaccurate escrow analysis. I have also filed a complaint with the HUD and may retain an attorney as well. I am awaiting a court date. Chase did not respond to my request for a re-analysis of ecrow even with documentation. Chase also failed to timely pay my property taxes in which possibly gives leverage to conduct business in such an unethical fashion. I have above a 700 credit score, have paid my ALL payments before the due date with the respect of being cheated. As you stated, if my haome could appraise with this current economy I would be finished with CHASE!

I have just had my house payment increase by 300.00 monthly due to an inaccurate escorow account. I am fighting and have submmited a complaint with HUD and in addtion, obtain an attorney if needed. My taxes are not NEARLY what they have estimasted with chase failing even to pay my taxes in a timely fashion. These mortage companies are attacking those who pay and we suffer. I am reading on this website and only hope that I may take other cases upon my court hearing to advocate for you!!! If this was the time to obtain a refinance with NO issues of how our hoem would appraise I myself would reject CHASE!!

I obtained a home equity loan with Chase. I have plenty of equity over and above the home equity loan. I paid by the due date (usually right before the due date) over several years and recently made one late payment. All of a sudden, my credit line was frozen. I called them and was referred to their credit department. Even though I paid by the due date over many months, with the exception of one payment which I had forgotten to mail, they claimed that I paid almost a month late repeatedly ( I paid right before the due date each month) and because of this, they demanded 12 months of "timely" payments, whatever that means, effectively depriving me of my credit line for a year. I have very good credit and they were more than protected with the substantial equity in my home with no other mortgage but that one. I am refinancing that home equity line asap and will never use Chase again for any reason. I have several banks offering to refinance. Watch out for Chase! They consider payments made before but close to the due date almost a month late.

Chase Mortgage is THE WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY!! We've only had our home since 2007, and our mortgage has gone up $300.00 PER MONTH in that time... so much for a fixed-mortgage! Then, my husband lost his job through no fault of his own, and I immediately called Chase and told them what happened. They told me to apply for short-term assistance and assured me that everything would work out okay. They mailed me the packet of things I had to fill out, and after completing everything, I faxed back 35 pages of information. I was told it would take about 30 days to process everything, but not to worry about anything. After 90 DAYS of calling almost everyday, I still had NO ANSWERS!! Nobody knows what's going on, you talk to one person and they say everything's fine, the next person says they can't find your paperwork. Or maybe the computers down for 2 weeks (I was actually told that once!!) Anyway, long story short... we're now loosing our house because TODAY (90 DAYS LATER) I'm told that MY INCOME ALONE for a household of 5 people should be more than enough to pay my mortgage (BEFORE TAXES OF COURSE). I was told by one person that I talked to that "Chase prides themselves on dealing DIRECT with their customers and HELPING their customers STAY IN THEIR HOMES"... That statement couldn't be farther from the truth. I wish I would have seen this website before I got my Mortgage, I would NEVER have given Chase my business!!
PLEASE -- PLEASE -- PLEASE: If you want to stay in your home, and live the American Dream, DO NOT CHOOSE CHASE... You will be SORRY and they won't care!!
Will never do business with them again

Chase is horrible.
I'm trying to apply for a fixed rate mortgage with them. I have an excellent credit score, high income and 20% down. I was expecting to sail through the process...
Not so. They request more and more paperwork. Every time I sand them something, they take 1-2 weeks(!) to even look at it, then request more documents. And, After 2 months of this, now they want to see new versions of the documents I sent them in the beginning, because they are too old!
The loan officer I'm dealing with is extremely unprofessional. At some point, when I enquired why it is taking so long, he just told me that that's the way it is, and if I don't like it, I can go to another bank! Then hung up the phone on me.
I would never recommend Chase to anyone. And, this is the last time I'm doing any business with them.
Will never do business with them again

Well, . . . what can I say. i believe Chase tries to rip off its customers when ever possible. They purchased my mortgage from another lender. the immediately tried to increase my agreed upon escrow saying that my escrow balance was 1,200.00 short.

Their customer service is horrible. The worst on the planet. I have dealt with bad telephone support, but they take the cake. Their customer service reps have very limited abilities. They are basically paid to annoy you and eventually wear you down so you give in.

They are trained to talk in circles and throw out numbers to confuse you. Their own employees cannot get their financials to add up when you go over line by line with them.

In short, don't use this company. I hope they go out of business with the rest of the lame banks.

CHASE STINKS. I have 2 mortgages and all my cards with them and they treat me like GARBAGE. I pay on time and pay my cards off every month. I had my mortgages set up on auto bill pay and escrow went up and I did not realize it. 2 months I paid $37 short due to the new escrow amt. THEY HIT MY CREDIT REPORT SAYING I WAS BEHIND 2 Months on my mortgage and never applied my payments!UNTIL NOW MY CREDIT WAS PERFECT. NEVER CALLED ME NEVER SENT ME NOTICE! I HAVE TO WALK THEM THROUGH THE ENTIRE RESOLUTION. I CALL EVERYDAY. CAN'T WAIT TO SWITCH.

My husband and I got an adjustable rate mortgage recently from Chase to pay for our new home. It really helps in the short term especially as Chase's rates were very agreeable. Later when we're more stable, we can afford to adjust our rate but for now this is all we can manage. Chase was very friendly and helpful, everything went through quickly and easily.

I refinanced my mortgage with Chase Home Mortgage about 2 years ago. The process was very easy and they were great to work with. Their online banking tools are great and allows you to tie your mortgage and Chase checking accounts together so you can view all of your Chase products under the same login. The only downside is that their customer service isn't very good. I called last week to r?eview some items and was transferred to 4 different departments before getting disconnected. I would still recommend them based on the products and rates that they offer.
