Just refinanced with Chase, and it was so easy! Filled out initial application and provided a few documents during the first meeting with the loan officer - that was ALL we had to do! Refinance through closing only took 3 weeks. Everyone involved in the process was a pleasure to work with. No Hassle at all!

I have been trying to get a modification on my home since 10/07. I have been getting the run around for almost 3 years and no results. I have sent in documentation after documentation and they are saying they still don'thave all of my paper work. I have been placed in foreclosure every month with a sale date and so far every month they take it out of foreclosure for a week or so and then put me back in there. I have tried to work out a repayment with Chase but they are not willing to do so. They can't accept my payments because I am in foreclosure and if I don't have the full balance thats owed they want accept a payment. I have explained to chase that I am self employed and the taxes on my home was assesed incorrectly. I have had two different litigation company's assisting me but they have been unable to get through to chase so I have lost money with thme as well. Chase is unreasonable and unwilling to help me keep my home. I have another sale date coming up the first Tuesday in Sept. I am at a loss and do not know what to do. I have no where to take my family but does chase care? NO

What can I say? I'm a highly paid professional that has had my home for 7.5 years without ever a late payment. Unfortunately, I was laid off in January 2010. I immediately filed a loan modification with Chase and double / triple ensured I had all supporting documentation. Since then I've got nothing but the run around. You can call 3 times and hear 3 different stories. I did eventually start working again but refuse to pay them anything until they work with me on the 6 months that is behind due to my lack of income. No one will call me back, though it's documented they have (A TOTAL LIE). I have sent and resent the same documentation - I have over $340 in fax charges alone! Chase Mortgage is nothing less than a total joke. It is by far the most disorganized, unprofessional, and downright stupid company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I'm at my wits end and don't know what to do... I believe their entire program is a sick game they must play to appease the government. There is no other explanation.

I am greatly disappointed with the Refinance process with Chase. I have been given the run-around for 6 months and still nothing. I have excellent credit and not even taking money out. All I wanted to do was to lower my interest rate with the same company who holds my loan. How difficult could that be? It's too ridiculous for words.
Purely AWFUL

My current mortgage is with Chase. I was made aware that I was eligible for the Making Home Affordable Refinancing Program which is only accessable through your current lender. Needless to say, I was approved and ready to close within a week. I received a call letting me know with lots of apologies of course that my loan had been sold and they could no longer offer me this refinancing product. Furthermore, they couldn't tell me who the loan was sold to. I'm wondering if Chase receives government backed incentives for merely processing refinancing packages? Or are they just idiots with inability to process information within their own organization!

My payment increased as well by nearly 250.00 monthly due to inaccurate escrow analysis. I have also filed a complaint with the HUD and may retain an attorney as well. I am awaiting a court date. Chase did not respond to my request for a re-analysis of ecrow even with documentation. Chase also failed to timely pay my property taxes in which possibly gives leverage to conduct business in such an unethical fashion. I have above a 700 credit score, have paid my ALL payments before the due date with the respect of being cheated. As you stated, if my haome could appraise with this current economy I would be finished with CHASE!

I have just had my house payment increase by 300.00 monthly due to an inaccurate escorow account. I am fighting and have submmited a complaint with HUD and in addtion, obtain an attorney if needed. My taxes are not NEARLY what they have estimasted with chase failing even to pay my taxes in a timely fashion. These mortage companies are attacking those who pay and we suffer. I am reading on this website and only hope that I may take other cases upon my court hearing to advocate for you!!! If this was the time to obtain a refinance with NO issues of how our hoem would appraise I myself would reject CHASE!!

I obtained a home equity loan with Chase. I have plenty of equity over and above the home equity loan. I paid by the due date (usually right before the due date) over several years and recently made one late payment. All of a sudden, my credit line was frozen. I called them and was referred to their credit department. Even though I paid by the due date over many months, with the exception of one payment which I had forgotten to mail, they claimed that I paid almost a month late repeatedly ( I paid right before the due date each month) and because of this, they demanded 12 months of "timely" payments, whatever that means, effectively depriving me of my credit line for a year. I have very good credit and they were more than protected with the substantial equity in my home with no other mortgage but that one. I am refinancing that home equity line asap and will never use Chase again for any reason. I have several banks offering to refinance. Watch out for Chase! They consider payments made before but close to the due date almost a month late.

Chase Mortgage is THE WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY!! We've only had our home since 2007, and our mortgage has gone up $300.00 PER MONTH in that time... so much for a fixed-mortgage! Then, my husband lost his job through no fault of his own, and I immediately called Chase and told them what happened. They told me to apply for short-term assistance and assured me that everything would work out okay. They mailed me the packet of things I had to fill out, and after completing everything, I faxed back 35 pages of information. I was told it would take about 30 days to process everything, but not to worry about anything. After 90 DAYS of calling almost everyday, I still had NO ANSWERS!! Nobody knows what's going on, you talk to one person and they say everything's fine, the next person says they can't find your paperwork. Or maybe the computers down for 2 weeks (I was actually told that once!!) Anyway, long story short... we're now loosing our house because TODAY (90 DAYS LATER) I'm told that MY INCOME ALONE for a household of 5 people should be more than enough to pay my mortgage (BEFORE TAXES OF COURSE). I was told by one person that I talked to that "Chase prides themselves on dealing DIRECT with their customers and HELPING their customers STAY IN THEIR HOMES"... That statement couldn't be farther from the truth. I wish I would have seen this website before I got my Mortgage, I would NEVER have given Chase my business!!
PLEASE -- PLEASE -- PLEASE: If you want to stay in your home, and live the American Dream, DO NOT CHOOSE CHASE... You will be SORRY and they won't care!!
