I recently got pre approved for a home loan and submitted an offer for a short sale. The short sale was approved by the seller and signed. HOWEVER -- it has NOT been approved by Bank of America which is handling the short sale.

Despite a two hour meeting with Chase going over every detail and clearly specifying we'd proceed PENDING THE APPROVAL FROM BANK OF AMERICAN putting the approval under my name .. I see that the incompetent employees of CHASE bank proceeded with an appraisal on a property I have NOT been approved to purchase!!! They deducted $395 from my account for an appraisal which had NO place in happening since this short sale has YET to be approved!

I am beyond furious and hve already demanded to have this corrected and get my money re instated.

If for whatever reason this sale falls through, rest assured I will take every dime and penny from my accounts and happily take my loan elsewhere.

I called Chase 3 years ago and asked for info on a refinance-never been late on a payment-was advised to get into the loan mod program-2 years and reams of paper later was told I did not qualify as I did not owe enough.Had to pay back appx $4000 in 3 months to clean up.Also my credit was trashed and I have now paid 1 year on time and am trying to get a refinance just to reduce the rate. After all this, called Chase and asked if I could refi with them, they were way less than helpful and am going somewhere-anywhere-else.

I tried to use Providential Bancorp Ltd as a broker for home loan. The lender was Providential Funding LLC. I have excellent credit score of 800 and sufficient assets to show as a guarantee for the loan, and very good annual income.

This broker was never forthcoming on the amount of fees he is going to charge, nor was he informing me what was going on with the application. After going back and forth for 5 weeks, the broker could not get the job done.

With less than 3 weeks remaining, I approached a lender directly and the loan was sanctioned in about a week.

I recommend against using Providential Bancorp or Provident Funding for home mortgage needs

Do not use

I purchased my house July 2009 and financed it through Chase. It was an awful experience. These people act like they are making minimium wage and could care less about quality service. I turned in several documents that were confirmed to have been recieved and a week later they would ask for the same documents.

I just tried to refinance with them as we all know rates have went down significantly. I am at a 5.5 and wanted to take the opp. to lower it.

I have almost perfect credit, make good money and believe it or not the value of our home has gone up since we bought it in 09 when the homes in our neighborhood were at the worst.

Talked to someone from Chase who was a condescending know it all. I told him I had another offer from Quickenloans where I could buy points to get out of my PMI. He tried to be little me saying this is impossible and that the rates at Chase are the best. Anyway, he obviously couldn't even come close to what Quickenloans had to offer and the support provided is night and day when comparing the two.

Don't even bother with Chase Bank. Again, I went with quickeloans which has been a far superior experience.

I now have a 4.5 rate and I am not paying a PMI with my streamlined FHA loan. I did buy an extra point for this but it will pay itself back in less then two years.

Just refinanced with Chase, and it was so easy! Filled out initial application and provided a few documents during the first meeting with the loan officer - that was ALL we had to do! Refinance through closing only took 3 weeks. Everyone involved in the process was a pleasure to work with. No Hassle at all!
They sold my house without my knowledge

I would like to share my horrible experience with Chase. I was in contact with an agent via email every week regarding my loan modification. Every week I would ask if there was a sale date and every week would be the same response. While I was emailing our account manager, another Chase representative was calling our home at all hours to tell us that the house was indeed up for auction on April 26th 2010. The Chase representative that was calling our home never left a message and never called while we were there at the house. So one week we called in to find out what was happening with our loan and after being transferred to 4 different people, we find out our house was sold.
I called our rep that we were emailing, I called the Case legal department and I called the main Chase office and they all said "sorry...it is your responsibility to call the Chase office each week and see if there is a sale date set" I said that I was emailing our Chase rep every week and I was basically talking to a brick wall.

I will never do any business with Chase again. It just makes me sick when I see the Chase commercials on TV. They are absolute crooks and they expect us to forget what they are doing now to so many people.
