STAY AWAY for First Home Mortgage!!!!

To his credit our loan officer seemed overworked with a busy market, however this could have been laziness as well.

For starters:

he promised that he was going to lock in a interest rate as soon as we finished the frist round of paperwork, he FORGOT and the interest rate went up .4% WTF!!!

His calculations were always way of!! The actual numbers were much higher. 400- 500 difference.

4 times he promised to give the bank (owner of the property) a commitment letter, and he lied 3 times. The bank was read to walk on the deal. If we did not have a good bid the bank would have went with the bid that lost out to us.

He was so incompetent that the property agent for the house stopped speaking to him directly and didn't even come to closing (cant blame him, I understood).

Because of a oversite on his end we paid an extra 2,000 that we didn't have to in closing cost.

Because of another oversight on his end we paid an additional $1,000 for haz insurance that we didnt have to.

He also neglected to mention that we could have gotten $8,000 instantly at closing for the first time home buyers credit through the company, however we had to wait 3 months till we got it.

For a month we were wondering if we were squatting on the house because we never received a welcome packet plus we had a hard time getting in touch with First home.

IF i COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE -1O I WOULD!!!!
