I got this mortgage after refinance company got me a good rate. With the drop in economy I was running low of funds so called them 6 months prior to not being able to make my payment on time...would not work with me at all. After getting two months behind they claim to have received my Jan 12 payment late although I pay it electronically and hasn't been an issue in the past. They refunded my January payment and now they refuse to accept my payments are moving to foreclosure...seeing an attorney today.

Thank ya'll for these reviews, especially the complaints. I was about to go into a mortgage loan with them I received the mortgage documents right away ..they had promised there were no fees. When I found a problem..I have called them several times to discuss, but they don'tcall me back. Needless to say I have not signed the documents, nor returned them. I won't take this loan, I am glad I found out, what was already suspected by me. The loan documents just said to sign them and return them the same day if possible, they said.
I wonder how many unsuspecting folks those documents "helped".

This company is beyond awful. Save yourself a lot of grief and go to another lender. They are unprofessional, abusive and liars.

Whatever you do, do not use this company! Worst company I've ever worked with. I was mislead and told that my loan was going to be no problem, and I was pre-approved. From the very beginning I told them the closing date is very important and I need to close in time. I was told up to the last week of closing that everything was "on schedule". Turn out, I was hit with a boat load of contingencies a week before the loan was supposed to close. Suffice to say, I did not close in time, and have gone through several extensions already and still waiting.

From the very beginning, I was trying to communicate with the processing person and for him to tell me what I can do to make sure we close in time. He told me that I'm doing everything I'm supposed to and that he will let me know if underwriting needs anymore info, but everything looks good and "on schedule". I was doing my end by contacting him every day and trying to find out what I need to do to get things moving, and turn in the necessary ppwk. All he gave me was fluff and alot of BS, forgetting information I gave to him, and asking for the same information numerous of time. I tried to complain to his supervisor, but all he could say was that the type of loan I have is complicated.

Save yourself alot of headache and frustration and work with a more reputable company. i will definitely learn from this experience and will never use them again, and will let everyone I know about it. I hope you take my suggestion seriously....run to another company quick!

They are the best! I used to have them on the mortgage at my old house. Because I was a good customer, when interest rate drop, they send me a letter and ask me if I want to refinance to a lower rate without any fee. I did it. And cost me nothing. All I have to do is to go to the bank and have the notaries. Wish I have them now!

IThis was my first Mtg. the sales rep, worked with me to clean up some negatives on my report... accepted payoff letters to speed up the process, they did NOT try to abuse my status, and treated me fair..... I am in the process of doing a re-fi. Freedom Mtg rates beat my local credit union and National City Bank . I guess I am going to stay with them... Thanks Freedom Mtg.
