after 11 months of a trial mod du to Litton stating they were still reviewing the docs. They cancelled the mod on 3-30-2010, with no notice to us. 4-10-2010 tax due and now back payment of over $7000. so they are marking credit late 2 months and say if dont pay tehy will foreclose. really are you serious ...... Litton needs to be stopped BBB has been informed FTC has been informed yet Litton is still allowed to go on with these practices which they were sued in 2006 for the same issues. PLEASE HOW DO WE STOP LITTON

Litton was sued by a group of other lenders and borrowers who caused them to have their homes foreclosed because they didn't help anybody. Now it takes 21 days to get an approval for a short sale or loan modification. People are friendlier.
It seems we have to continue pushing people to "DO THEIR JOB". Still, be aware and claim your rights, always.

Everyone who reads this should go to Consumer Affair and Ripoff.com website and pull up all the complains on Lition and send copies to Obama administration. Also, flood there emails letting them know how unfairly people have been treated under this company. They are bad...bad news and need to be exposed!

Several months ago before defaulting on my loan, I called Litton to negotiate a loan modification. Litton was not remotely intersted in having a discussion or dialogue that would allow me to continue making payments. I'm now in default and waitning for the foreclosure to move forward but decided last week to contact Litton and ask for the name of the company holding my mortage. My thought was maybe they (as they have a more vested interest) would be more motivated to discuss a loan modification. Unfortuantely the rep at Litton told me that they do not disclose that type of information. Since when do I not get to know who holds the note on my loan??? I think this is further proof Litton stone walls clients. This should be illegal...Are you serious Litton - You can't tell me who hold my note????

This company is a disaster. I agree with the above about lack of communication and not applying payments properly. This company is trying to foreclose on our even now that we are in a Chapter 13. This company says we are 6 months behind. Why are we just finding out about this and why are they continuing to add interest to what was filed on what was in the areas. This company sucks in business ethics and all they want is houses and not working with people who are less than perfect in credit the come out on the loosing in if they foreclose.

Litton bought my friends mortgage from Countrywide. He has had a difficult time communicating with them. Not sure what is going on with Litton.

I am so glad someone have had dealings with Litton, we have (Florida) we first started out with OWNIT Mortgage then we were introduced to Litton Loan Servicing they were going to be handling the loan, boy what a nightmare, personnel does not communicate with each other, we send payments (not posted) then we wire via Western Union (not given credit) finally we reeived a summons for foreclosure, we went thru a so called "Fresh Start Program" pay them $1200 and all they could arrange with Litton was a forbearance which made the monthly payment higher than the mortg pmts, we lost the $1200 , then one day I decided to write thema pleading letter and finally now we her from the with a "Loan Modification" we had to send $750 as down payment and our new monthky is going to be $2631.00 (includes escrow of $446) and now I need to send $600 and the new effective date for first pmt under Loan Modification is due on 2/1/2007. We have been arguing with them since June 2006 until now. I am not sure whether to believe that we are actually under a loan modification or not. Will see after 2/1/2007. Will post results. Right after we got the mort with OWN IT our middle score was 584 ( we are paying 7 and 7.5% we have an 80/20 our FICO went down to 514

Some customers have sued them for deceptive business practices in its loan servicing techniques and have filed class action complaint against them. All those who had any dealing with this company say that it is a dreadful company. They should be stopped from ruining lives of poor people.
