my name is angie wright, 62026 lake st, cassopolis,mi 49031, cell#574-333-1200.the mortgage is our sons name(stephen dwight wright) and we hold the title. we were sold by wells fargo last august,2010 after completing a modification 100% and didn't know they sold the mortgage to midland mortgage, oklahoma city, ok. our taxes were raised by mistake in 2009 by 1800.00. our son who is supervisor in the township over from us discovered it. it took until last july,2010 to get it fixed. also when paying our mortgage to WF we had to pay on the 25th of each month (due by the 1st) we always called them and told them and it was never problem and we paid the late fee only to find out they applied it to the mortgage and charged us another late fee. i have contacted the whole state of michigan over and over (5/6 times) and even the white house, and the president of the usa. all we get/got was passed from agency to agency. they would contact midland, not us and seemed to side with them. i have written so many letters, textes i am tired. they loose items, rude, and more. we faxed and made copies costing us over 500.00 . i documented every contact with a name and id# and state. you never talk to the same person. my son got married and moved out and did not wanted us to have a roof over our heads.his father is 66 years old with heart problems (9 by passes, and stents and had a heart attack in december, 2010. i am on disability with bi polar manic and have been in and out of the emergency room twice in April,2011. we have an attorney, adam gantz, farmington, mi and midland has hired trott and trott, farmington, mi. we paid our attorney in good faith and seemed positive until he got paid in full and now everything has changed as far as their attitude. we have no problems making the monthly payments. they however, just don't seemed to want to help.we did not get bailed out like so many companies did, all we want is to stay in our home. so please, see what you can do to help since this has been a 2 years process. we feel lifeless and i am scared to loose my husband as he is scared to loose me. we just want to stay in our home and have them work with us, but at this time they (midland mortgage) just doesn't care. we have been told that walls street is also in on this and they are targeting young people and senior citizen. please don't just believe in them as i would not put my life in hell for 2 years. thank you angie

Midland Mortgage (Midfirst Bank) claim to participate in these commonly used Government Modification programs. Ironically enough, for weeks they coaxed me along undeniably stating that I indeed qualified and any arrears would be tucked onto the back of the loan and that a fresh start was imminent. Suddenly, I did not qualify for the Program and was in danger of eviction. Funny thing was that although I reinstated my loan, the DAY before the Sheriff Sale, I received a letter informing me to seek legal counsel.....lol

Beware of this lender! They truly are a predator, making promises that they never intend to keep with unannounced increases if you reinstate the loan. I believe that this is in part due to their incompetent employees, but incompetent business practices do not fully explain the unethical representation of their supervisors who are making almost all decisions (you get this line from nearly every department that you reach out to).

I was laid off for one month then back to work. I was one payment behind for 6 months because of that temporary layoff. I was trying to save enough to make that one payment up when they tol me about this "program that would take 3 months payments from the front of the loan move them to the back of the loan and refinance those with my principal. We applied, and were accepted, we had to pay the late fees and some titling fee (supposedly refundable) and we were told the papers would be here in 2 weeks, when 2 weeks expired we called them and they said we were not eligible afterall and were now 3 payments behind even though they said we were approved. If these bozos would have worked with me when I asked for a forbearance on one measly payment, the day after I was temporaraly laidoff none of this would have happened. I guess the rich guy always wins, the fact that the entire forementioned fees were applied to my late fees, tells me the "program" was a scheme to get me far enough behind to try to forclose. This is the worst company I have ever had dealing with. Any time you call you get routed to customer service and its apparent they have high turn over because that all ways say the person you talked to last no longer works their. They do not have any person in the various departments that you can talk to. Ie if you want to talk to
some one on loan pay off their is not some one. or if you call assumptions department. all you get is customer service. I had a simple request to use the remaining escrow to pay off the last
payment on the loan and I was jerked around. and through out the loan we have had nothing but other issues mostly steaming form lack
of service their online presents is also the worst you cannot do any thing with the loan online. so save your self the time aggravation and skip the company. You would get better customer service taking out a loan from the mob. I personally would not use this mortgage is they were the only mortgagor in the world.

They will rob you.

If you are currently with them; try to change mortgage lenders. They do not care anything about the customers and the communication skills with the customers are awful. I put in a request to do a repayment plan in August, submitted ALL my paperwork, continued to call for almost 8 weeks, no one returned my calls, then we receive mail from a lawyer's office that our property is being foreclosed on! I call back and raise you know what, we work it out, foreclosure is stopped after I send in one payment ($838- which is our regular house payment, but I fell behind because my husband lost his job- about 3 months), but then they put me on a replayment plan and we have to pay $1373- financial pre
Destroyed my dreams

Midland Mortgage Company in Oklahoma along with Midfirst Bank has destroyed my life and the American dream to own a house and property.

Midland Mortgage never has good records on file, a rude legal representative who took this case personally. She was loud and wrong in court and had the gall to accuse me of wrong doings. By the time my so-called lawyer, James Jester finished talking to her, he even could not think straight. He had a copy of my latest payment in my filing of all of my payments since the purchase of the property.

He returned to me in the courtroom and said that he just negotiated a good deal by having me to pay this month's mortgage payment in increments with my next two payments. Of course, I had to show him all of my receipts again and prove to him that I was not behind at all and no negotiations would be justice. Midland Mortgage finally admitted to my records were right and dropped the case. However, my mortgage was raised every other month with new booklets sent out each time. No reason was behind the increases.

Midfirst Bank which backs Midland Mortgage and Mellon Mortgage decided to sue me anyway. My house was up for forclosure and I did not know until an eviction notice came to my house and several calls received asking me to sell before the forclosure took place. I had to file a bankruptcy to save the house from this company. They stole over $21,000.00 from me. In court, they did not have to prove that I owed them. The courts took their word for it and set the payments up to be withdrawn from my payroll. I was not given the opportunity to show my proof of not oweing them.
