The harrasssment is unbelievable as far their demand for proof of insurance. Everytime my insurance company sends them proof that I have coverage, they find another reason that they need additional information in the meantime I'm being charged for an imaginary lapse in coverage. Does anyone know that the FTC sued them in 2003 and won a $40 million dollar settlement against them for 11 violations. Every one needs to submit their problems with this company to the BBB, media , and the FTC since they are not complying with the court order.

Select Portfolio Servicing allowed me to keep my home. They are incredible. My mother had a ongoing illness for 1 year which restricted my time to go to work. There were a few months that I could only make a partial payment and they took it. Once I was back to work full time they worked out a modification that would not overwhelm me. I kept in regular contact with SPS so I am thinking that is why they were so patient with my situation. Thankyou SPS for saving me and my home..........

My husband and I are a young couple with a 1 year old, we bought our very first home 2 years ago when the market was HOT. We have become another victim to the foreclosure population due to our loan officer lying... we knew our loan was going to fluctuate at the end of this year, what we did not know was that it was going to balloon out of control. (His lies are another story) Due to hard ship and personal reasons, not to mention the crappy market and economy... we decided that our only choice was to foreclose.

We made our last house payment in April of 2008. We moved our things out and moved into an apartment on the 15th of April... Since we did not have the money, we decided to leave our 1973 Mach 1 Ford mustang (that has been unrunning for 8 years) in the garage... since we thought we had at least 90 day to get it out...

Now its July and we have found a place to store our unmoving vehicle... When we got to our house, we see that the locks have been removed from the security door and the locks have been changed on our door... and they took bolt cutters to our garage door key pad and put theirs onto it... Mind you it has only been 2 1/2 months... There were no notices of eviction on the door. We had not recieved anything in the mail indicating that they were seizing the house or starting the foreclosure process...

We finally get our garage door open and we see that the SPS A-holes took the registration out of the mustang... and placed it on the roof of the car. By that time my neighbors came over and said that they were taking pictures of our mustang and the registration papers...

In the state of California, it is illegal to put a lien on someone's vehicle, and it is a little illegal to change the locks on someone's house that it still legally theirs!!!!!!!!!!! Has this happened to anyone?? I know that the house looked abandoned... but we still had some belongings in there... how did they not know that we were not trying to save money to get caught up???

I'm Writing on behalf of my father he is 67yrs old retiree from Jacobson textron of 36yr.have owned his home for the last 8YRS.

However as of last year 3/2005 this mortgage company by the name of select portfolio refinanced his home. in march or April of this year 2006 my father received papers stating that his home was in foreclosure due to non payments in Nov and Dec of 2005.while we obtain all valid documents from the first day they have held the mortgage until now, they continue to make automatic withdrawals from my father account monthly.

they have damaged my father credit report and state that he owes them $5,000.which is ridiculous, my father has worked hard all his life and paid for everything he owns in time of crisis he would be able to lend money. but now! because of this company!after many restless nighs he was forced to sell his beautiful custom made Elcamino for dirt cheap, so the lawyer could get paid.

They have not responded to copies of the payments that were faxed and mailed to them in beginning of this disaster neither have they responded to the two letters sent by our lawyer.
and we will fight them till there dead.

They will be stopped!
