The absolute worst Mortgage company ever!!! They never answer the phone, EVER! I have my mortgaged auto drafted and they have called on multiple occassions saying I am behind on my payment. Really? it is drafted... How can I be behind. Also, I just realized they have not drafted Dec 2011 payment which is supposed to be draftedon Dec 15th and it is January 9th. So unrealiable. I wish my mortgage was with any other company. I think 5th graders could handle my mortgage more appropriately.

This is not the company that you want to handle your mortgage. You never get a return call even after they send a paper to call them. You know they are not any good if an attorney can not hardly get in touch with them. Just like many other people, I wondered how can a company that has such negative ratings still be allowed to be in business. The answer is as long as it is not the CEO, mayor, senate, or president who has a mortgage with them, the company will be allowed to stay in business.

I HATE this company. I would be willing to pay more a month to switch mortgage companies (not really, but you can sense my frustration). These people never answer the phone. Don't even attempt to call near 5 pm (They are long gone). I've had messages that didn't get returned for weeks. They do not care about you, at all. Every time that i have spoken to someone, rare occasion, they sound bothered or annoyed. I don't ask a lot from a mortgage company but a little kindness and courtesy could go a long way. I hope this company fails because I fear the thought of this kind of company being successful.

Worst company ever. My wife lost her job and I asked about Obama's modification plan and they told me I needed to be at least 3 months behind (I was not behind at that point) so I did not pay for 3 months and then filed the paperwork. Over 6 months later I was denied for modification and now 3 months behind. A month later got a foreclosure notice. Seriously? NEVER EVER choose Statehome.

Why does this mortgage company not have a website nor a customer service line? This is very odd. I did not know my loan was "purchased" by them until after my closing. This company is not very "modern" or customer service friendlly.

I've been dealing with this mortgage company for 8 years and they have horrible service, and no website! I've called in the past to refinance my loan, or for a home equity loan, and they told me they don't do that stuff. What the hell kind of mortgage company is this? These are just a group of 6 or 7 ladies in an office---period. They make sure to do absolutely the bare minimum to stay in business.

Every single time I have to call up it's a hassle. I pay my bills on time, they lost a check, Hassle. I ask questions about my loan and I get a lady with an annoying voice who is just plain rude. For all the money they suck out of me for the load that only pays 125 a month towards principal and around 800 in their pockets you think they could be nicer and maybe provide envelopes.
