Third Federal Mortgage

We took out a construction loan with Third Federal for the house we built in 2007 and we converted it to a mortgage upon completion. Third Federal's rates were lower than average. Their service is pretty good (e.g., at our request, they notified us before making the final disbursement to the builder). They don't sell their loans to third parties, so you don't wind up dealing with some yahoo organization which has created nightmares for some people in recent years. We would go with Third Federal again and would recommend them to family and friends.
