I have sent the below letter to Vanderbilt and explained to them that I have been disabled and I will be getting payments very soon from this and we can get this worked out, my reply was we (Vanderbilt) are "NOT" going to work with you on this, and are demanding payment or foreclosure. Could you PLEASE Help in this matter ?

Loan # 392511-0

To Whom it May Concern,

I have received an acceptance letter from the Social Security Administration Office stating that I will be receiving my disability pay starting Oct 26th (next month) which I have included a copy of the letter. This is what we have been waiting for to get back on track. This has been a very thin timeline in getting this started up. We are currently 3 payments behind, and will not be able to make a payment until my disability actually starts on Oct 26. I know this is getting very close into Vanderbilt filing a foreclosure. I HOPE we can work something out that will be good for both of us. I believe it would be very costly for Vanderbilt to file foreclosure, then to try and sale the property. It?s very likely Vanderbuilt could lose $ 15,000 to $ 20,000 by doing this. This would be bad for both of us. Us losing our home, you losing 15 to 20 grand over unable of paying a couple of payments (which we CAN pay now starting Oct 26th).

Now that I do have a stable income, would it be possible to re-do this loan, or possibly put these few payments on the end of our note and going forward ? As you can see in the letter, I will not be getting a lump some payment, but it is a reliable income that can get us started again on making our monthly paymen

HOPE we can work this out and move forward.
Vanderbilt Gangsters.

To all who have a mortgage with Vanderbilt, I plead let us all ban together and make life tough for them. There is power in numbers and we must stick together., I am open to any sugestions, an example would be for us all to skip our payment for a month or 2, or possibly find our own good reasons to sue them and bog them down in court cases really bad. Let me know.

I financed my home about 3 years ago with Vanderbilt Mortgage. I lost my job last year for a few months and fell behind on my payments. Anyway, after I got the funds from a relative and maid my payment and insurance payment and everything seemed okay.

When I got my next statement, my payments had increased over $50 a month. Because I was behind on my insurance, they took the money out of my house payment and were telling me that I?m still behind. I sent them the original money to straighten this out, but they moved my funds around without telling me. This seems a bit sketchy to me

I regret not reading all of the negative reviews on Vanderbilt Mortgage before I ever closed my loan with them. Everyone I have had any contact with in their office has been a complete jerk. I am astonished by how rude their agents are. I swear they have uneducated gang members from the streets working the phones. They're rude and will harass you! Don't do business with Vanderbilt!

My loan was sold to Vanderbilt Mortgage and I have had problems ever since. Since they took over I have asked them numerous times to provide me with a payment book. It took them 5 months.

I also had problems with them losing documentation over my homeowners insurance. I submitted it several times and they would continue tell me that I needed to submit my insurance payments and policies again and again. I leave messages and they don't reply. Every time I call, no one has a clue as to what is going on and I get the runaround from various people. They really should not be in business.
The Worst Experience

My Experience was the the worst. I felt that they were dishonest and not to be trusted. I have been insulted by their customer service agent, told that I was too poor to get a real loan, and that I should skip my groceries and gas in order to pay them their mortgage payment. I've never dealt with anyone insulting me like that, especially when I'm the customer.

They started out okay when we bought our manufactured home in 2005. However, we did have some problems with paperwork. I felt that we submitted the same thing 3x before they finally stopped calling us. After that, they've been okay. We pay our bill on time and I think thats all that matters.
